Bre’s favorite word is collaboration and that’s why we love her! Connecting with people through shared experiences and helping them feel comfortable is her jam, especially when they’re in front of the camera.

She’s passionate about helping people see a new side of themselves by creating imagery that boosts their confidence as individuals and professionals. She also sees the good in everybody.

Bre loves a good challenge. She had a client compare having his photo taken to having a root canal. By the end of the session, he had changed his tune and shared that it was the first time he felt comfortable on-camera. She strongly believes that empathy is as important as having technical skill –– and she works both ends.

Since mentors have been instrumental in her success as a photographer, she now returns the love. One of her favorite ways to give back to the photography community is meeting with photographers who are considering full-time self-employment.

Bre loves being outside, whether in the yard, at the dog park, camping, hiking, you name it. She enjoys traveling with her husband and two dogs (Sequoia & Fraser), and organizing and rearranging every room in their house. She equates it to a massive game of Tetris, finding new ways to use the same pieces over and over, but where design and aesthetic matter.

Bre attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
