Shari’s most admirable talent is to see the big picture in both work and life. She sees a project not only through the lens of her camera, but she has the vision to know how the pieces go together. Must be why her favorite word is imagine.
As an independent small business owner, she’s spent her whole career collaborating with others. The concept of being more intentional about empowering women is what makes Addwomxn so exciting and attractive to her.Shari says it best, “One of the greatest things about the business we are in is the collaborations we get to be a part of and the people with whom we work with and meet, each with their own story and background, merging our lifestyles and experiences together.”
Shari loves working on projects that are part of doing good in the world but also pushes her creatively. As CEO of Cutback Films, Shari is dedicated to giving back. Cutback Films has actively been a part of winter wear drives for homeless youth as well as donating any production goods to various charities such as the Aliveness Project, Ronald McDonald House, and Children’s Hospital. Shari serves as a Board Member of the non-profit Fly High Foundation.
Shari strives to be kind and lives each day to the fullest. Her joy in life is to spend time with her sons (being grown ups now, she takes every opportunity offered!) and her wife. They are foodies through and through and love to explore great restaurants or cook together at home. She also enjoys staying active by swimming and biking.
Shari received her Bachelors of Art and Communications at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.
