Audra Robinson

Audra Robinson was born a dreamer. And an eternal optimist. Founder of Rocky Robinson, a self-care brand for girls, Audra’s vision was to create a brand that empowers girls, fostering inclusivity, encouraging positive self-identity, good hygiene, and routine. Simply put, she wants girls to love the skin they are in.

Audra launched Rocky Robinson in 2020 after 15 years of working in corporate America, often being “the only” in the room. She noticed that something was missing, a brand that was relevant and specifically made for Black girls. Rocky Robinson was created to teach Black girls to love themselves from the inside out with personal care products including shower gel, lotion, lip balm and more. Rocky was created because representation matters.

Audra’s greatest talent is seeing the possibilities. The heart and mission of the Rocky brand is to show Black girls their limitless possibilities and celebrate their brilliance, beauty and magic with social and digital content, fueled by purpose to support organizations that provide better outcomes for Black girls. Given the disparity gaps that Minneapolis was called out for following the murder of George Floyd, Audra built this brand hoping to help change diversity in corporate
rooms of the future.

Audra tirelessly gives back to the community by teaching girls about careers in marketing and advertising as well as entrepreneurship. Her goal is to show Black girls are beautiful and they have the right to see themselves in their products. By visiting schools and community organizations and sharing her education, her life experiences, her career and her entrepreneurial ventures to young women, she is helping to close the racial wealth gap by fostering ecosystems of future Black and Brown women founders in our community.

In her spare time, Audra loves walking her dog, a shih tzu named Maxwell. At one point in her life, she was a Running Rebel! She’s passionate about having great experiences in life and being a safe place for anyone who needs it.

Audra Robinson received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Concordia University, with a certification in Digital Marketing from St. Thomas.
