case study: a step forward in innovation
As RxFunction prepared to launch its flagship product, the Walkasins® Lower Limb Sensory Neuroprosthesis, the company recognized the importance of updating its brand identity and refining its messaging. Amidst participation in clinical trials and navigating the rigorous approval process, RxFunction faced the challenge of effectively communicating with three distinct audiences: patients, clinicians, and investors. The objective was to define a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and develop a diverse range of materials tailored to each audience.

We initiated a discovery session with key stakeholders to clarify the usage and differentiation of the company and product brands. This session informed the development of a new brand platform, including updated logos and identity systems for RxFunction and Walkasins. With the brand identity established, we swiftly proceeded to create a website, serving as a central hub for essential pre-launch information, including illustrative guides on “how it works.”
With the brand’s visual identity set, we produced a diverse range of materials, such as clinician guides, instructions for use, and investor-focused sell sheets. Additionally, we oversaw photo and video shoots featuring clinicians and patients who had experienced Walkasins, utilizing the content to craft compelling testimonial quotes and videos.
The brand identity and materials developed have played a crucial role in securing two rounds of significant investor funds. With the strengthened brand presence and comprehensive suite of materials, RxFunction is now poised to expand beyond its current focus on VA clinics.
